The Social Space Format

Our goal in bringing this collection together and offering it freely to anyone who wishes to have a look is to give all who care a feel for the enormous variety of the world’s streets and the many ways in which they are used (and abused). We are looking for examples of the good, the bad, and the everyday-normal showing the world’s streets as they are in day to day life, warts and all. But we also want to show: the puzzling, the bizarre, the excellent, and the “exemplary just awful”.

Thanks when you submit photos to keep them to the (uncomfortable?) 940×198 “social space” format”, in each case giving what is needed to correctly attribute the photo, plus brief indication of the city, country, date, and perhaps a few words of explanation as to what we are seeing. See http://worldstreets.wordpress.com/editorial-team/the-social-space-format for more or contact Eric Britton at eric.britton@worldstreets.org. Tel. +331 7550 3788. Skype: newmobility
